Are you in-between jobs or just graduating from college? Do you need a health insurance policy right away? Short-term health insurance plans are easy to apply for and can be issued as soon as "the following day". An applicant can be on one of these temporary plans for up to six months at a time but can't purchase more than two plans within a 12 month period. Please also note that short-term plans don't cover any preexisting conditions.
